Install Virtualbox in Slackware
VirtualBox is a general-purpose full virtualizer for x86 hardware. Virtualbox an Open Source Software that very useful for you are limited to machine resources. That is easy for installation ( here I use the version VirtualBox-3.0.8-53138-Linux_x86) following stages :
1. Download virtualbox from http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
then install it by typing the command as root,
wait for moment..
t3chn0 virtualbox # bash ./VirtualBox-3.0.8-53138-Linux_x86.run
Verifying archive integrity… All good.
Uncompressing VirtualBox for Linux installation………
VirtualBox Version 3.0.8 r53138 (2009-10-02T09:30:22Z) installer
Installing VirtualBox to /opt/VirtualBox
Python found: python, installing bindings…
Building the VirtualBox vboxdrv kernel module
Building the VirtualBox netflt kernel module
Building the VirtualBox netadp kernel moduleVirtualBox has been installed successfully.
